In a televised commentary on the exchange of presidential messages between Cairo and Washington regarding the Palestinian issue and developments in the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam file, Amr AbdulRahman – media figure and political writer – stated that Cairo reiterated its main principles in all files presented for discussion internationally and at the United Nations.
He explained during his appearance on the Special Edition program on Nile TV International that Cairo’s positions are firm regarding all issues of the Arab East and the African continent, foremost among them the commitment to the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state, with all its relevant and related institutions.
In addition, “AbdulRahman” stressed, in response to Trump’s use of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam as leverage, that Egypt’s rights to the Nile River are constant throughout the ages, regardless of changes in US administrations, whether during Trump’s era, before him, or after him.
